Edwardian Leadlight Restoration
Over the years, this 1915 Edwardian weatherboard house has stood the testament of time and has many stories to tell. Broken but beautiful, discarded but not forgotten. This beautiful front door piece was researched, repaired, and restored.
The Outcome
After researching and documenting the history of the house, it was evident that this piece had been repaired numerous times. The copper wire which ties the window to the crossbar had separated, causing instability and numerous cracks. After 100 plus years, it was time to re-lead and match the coloured glass.
